ISO 9001:2015 certificate of registration issued to A.P. Rubber Industries by URS

ISO 9001:2015

Quality management

ISO 9001:2015 certifies the quality management system behind every batch we ship: how a specification is set, how a process is controlled, and how a nonconformity is caught and corrected. It is the credential that says our consistency is audited rather than asserted, and it is renewed on a three-year certification cycle with surveillance audits in between.

ISO 14001:2015

Environmental management

ISO 14001:2015 certifies the environmental management system: how we account for resource use, emissions and waste across the plant, and how each is measured and improved. For a business whose product is recovered material, an audited environmental system is the difference between a sustainability claim and a sustainability record.

ISO 45001:2018

Occupational health & safety

ISO 45001:2018 certifies the occupational health and safety management system: hazard identification, risk control and worker consultation across shredding, granulation and milling. It is audited against the same international standard a buyer's own EHS function is likely to be held to.

Material compliance

The certifications above audit how we work. These two are about the material itself: what it contains, and which regulations it satisfies. Neither is a certificate — one is a declaration of conformity, the other an independent laboratory test report — so both are set out here in full rather than shown as a document.

REACH

EU chemical compliance

Our recycled rubber is compliant with REACH, the European Union regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. Because the material is recovered from end-of-life tyres rather than compounded from new chemistry, its constituents are already-registered substances, and it carries no Substance of Very High Concern above the notification threshold.

  • Registration of constituent substances
  • Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)
  • Annex XVII restricted substances
  • Safety data sheet obligations

RoHS

Restricted hazardous substances

Our crumb rubber has been tested by an independent laboratory against EU Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by (EU) 2015/863 — RoHS 3, the full ten-substance list — and passes on every one. Testing was carried out to IEC 62321 by XRF and GC-MS. The four heavy metals and both flame-retardant groups returned not detected, and every result sits inside the permitted limit.

  • Lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium
  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
  • DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP phthalates
