Inside AP Rubber Group
How End-of-Life Tyres become industrial raw materials — our products, the industries we supply, and what mechanical recycling across India and Oman actually recovers.

High Hardness | Superior Purity | Consistent Performance
Premium recycled steel shots manufactured from tyre-derived steel — high hardness, consistent size and superior purity for abrasive blasting, shot peening and foundry operations.
AP Rubber Group manufactures steel shots from the bead wire recovered out of Truck & Bus Radial (TBR) End-of-Life Tyres (ELTs), using advanced recycling and precision processing technology. The result is engineered for high hardness, consistent size, superior purity and reliable performance.
Our recycled steel shots deliver excellent cleaning efficiency, impact resistance and durability, which makes them a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to virgin steel media. Every batch is manufactured under stringent quality control to ensure uniformity and compliance with international quality standards.
Converting recovered tyre steel into premium abrasive media reduces dependence on virgin steel, improves resource efficiency, and supports environmentally responsible manufacturing through a circular economy.
What recycled steel shot is specified for across industry.
Recovered tyre steel
Bead wire recovered from TBR end-of-life tyres is set aside as feedstock.
Cleaning
Wire is cleaned of residual rubber and refined for purity.
Cutting and forming
Wire is cut and processed into shot of a controlled size.
Magnetic refining
Magnetic stages lift out fines and non-conforming material.
Screening
Shot is screened so each pack holds a consistent size and shape.
Quality check
Each batch is inspected for hardness and uniformity before release.

Steel shots are spherical steel abrasive media used to clean, prepare and strengthen metal surfaces. AP Rubber Group manufactures them from steel recovered out of Truck & Bus Radial end-of-life tyres, refined and screened to a consistent size and hardness.
Abrasive blasting and surface preparation, shot peening, steel manufacturing and foundry operations, and as reinforcement in construction materials and industrial composites.
Shot blasting removes material — rust, mill scale, paint and contaminants — to clean or profile a surface. Shot peening uses the same media to cold-work the surface instead, putting it into compression so the component resists fatigue for longer.
They deliver the cleaning efficiency, impact resistance and durability the application needs at a lower cost, while cutting the embodied carbon of the media, because the steel is recovered rather than mined and smelted from ore.
Bead wire recovered from Truck & Bus Radial (TBR) End-of-Life Tyres, processed on our own lines — so the material is traceable end to end rather than bought in as scrap.
